School of Law class of 2009 is the largest yet
The University of St. Thomas School of Law is welcoming its largest incoming class to date as the 2006-2007 academic year kicks off today.
The 155-member class of 2009 arrives with an impressive academic background, including the strongest median grade-point average in the short history of the School of Law.
“We are very happy to welcome the class of 2009,” said Cari Haaland, director of admissions. "They are a unique and exceptional group and we expect great things from them."
Thirty-five percent of incoming students arrive from outside the state of Minnesota and represent 19 states and the District of Columbia. Students hold degrees from 71 undergraduate institutions and range in age from 21 to 61 years old.
