St. Thomas Sends Record-breaking Number of Students to Job and Internship Fair

The Career Development Center is pleased to report that St. Thomas sent another record-breaking number of students, more than 630, to the Minnesota Private Colleges' Job & Internship Fair on Feb. 18. The annual fair is hosted by 17 Minnesota private colleges and attracts over 2,000 students throughout the state. Students conducted on-site interviews and are continuing to network with employers for available internship and full-time positions.

The fair also saw the largest number of employers exhibiting: 258, surpassing last year’s record of 250. Employers represented business, nonprofit/social services, government, bioscience, IT and engineering organizations.

As is true each year, employers consistently said the Private Colleges' Job & Internship Fair provides the highest quality candidates, and the University of St. Thomas, in particular, is well-represented with highly prepared, professional students.

The next Minnesota Private Colleges' Job & Internship Fair is slated for Feb. 17, 2016.
