Starbucks arrives at UST today

UST Dining Services will serve Starbucks' coffee campuswide beginning today, Monday, Aug. 31.

The Grill will serve Seattle's Best, a Starbucks' coffee brand. Grill selections will include Seattle's Best Fair Trade Organic French Roast and Fair Trade Decaf.

Scooter's, located in the lower level of Murray-Herrick Campus Center, and Beakers Coffee Cart, located on the second floor of Owens Science Hall, will brew and serve Starbucks' espresso and a variety of coffees. Choices include the popular Caramel Macchiato and Organic Serena as well as a light and dark roast choices.

UST Frequent Buyer cards are available at Scooter's, Beakers and Food for Thought (located in Terrence Murphy Hall, Minneapolis campus). Beverages are discounted 25 cents for those who bring their own mugs.

"We look forward to serving our new lineup of coffee," said Gayle Lamb, manager, Dining Services.

Starbucks is the world's largest purchaser of Fair Trade coffee. The company's goals are ethical sourcing, environmental stewardship and community involvement.
