'Stereotypes Inside and Outside' dialogue is May 6
Asian Students In Action and the Luann Dummer Center for Women present "Stereotypes Inside and Outside," a dialogue to examine the image St. Thomas is reputed to have from the outside as well as from students who attend UST.
The discussion will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, in the Fireside Room, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. This event is open and free for everyone.
The goal of this event is to understand UST better by talking about various stereotypes and how they affect students and staff individually and collectively.
This dialogue is a special edition of Asian Americans Dialogue, a monthly series of informal discussions on concerns and issues related to Asian American Students. The May dialogue is special in that the topic is not only about issues pertaining to Asian Americans students, but it also is relevant to the entire campus and the community. The topic of this dialogue is inspired particularly by the UST Community Challenge Day.
