Commuter Center provides ice scrapers, hot chocolate, snow emergency information

Winter has arrived in Minnesota! During this time of snow emergencies and towing of cars, the Commuter Center and Off-Campus Services will help students be aware of resources to help them in winter weather.

Today and tomorrow, Dec. 5 and 6, Commuter Center staff and All College Council members will hand out ice scrapers, hot chocolate packets and snow emergency information in parking lots around campus. (Editors' note: See the Nov. 7 Bulletin story on snow emergencies and other winter-weather procedures. A link to this story can be accessed every day at the bottom of the right-hand links column on Bulletin Today’s home page.)

Here is the schedule for the handout of winter-related freebies and information:

  • 4-6 p.m. today, Dec. 5, on the edge of Lot H near the breezeway between the Physical Education Center and O’Shaughnessy Hall athletic building
  • 11:40 a.m.-1:20 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Lot H location and also on south campus where lots M and N meet southwest of the science and math buildings

All staff and students are invited to stop by the tables.
