Students vs. Professors Basketball Benefit to help stock Minnesota Food Shelf
It will be the classic matchup: youth and enthusiasm vs. experience and cunning at the Students vs. Professors Basketball Benefit for the Minnesota Food Shelf on Saturday, Dec. 8.
A team of students and and a team of faculty and staff will go up against each other at 3 p.m. in Schoenecker Arena, but it's the Minnesota Food Shelf that will win.
Tickets, which will be "sold" at the door, will be taken in the form of nonperishable goods. Spectators will receive one raffle ticket per donated food item for prize drawings.
The event is open to the public and will include a halftime show.
