Study abroad: Apply for study in London, Northern Ireland

The International Education Center lists information for students interested in studying abroad in the London Business Semester or Northern Ireland programs. Also, students preparing for spring 2010 study abroad should note that Nov. 1 is the deadline for scholarship applications. Read more below. 

London Business Semester applications for fall 2010

Dr. Mary Schmid Daugherty of Finance and Rick Kunkel of Legal Studies in Business will co-direct the 2010 London Business Semester. Applications are available for the fall 2010 program by attending either a small group advising session or one of the London Launch sessions this month. The schedule for advising sessions can be found under “2010 Program Information” on the London Business Semester Web site. It is recommended that students phone the International Education Center at (651) 962-6450 in advance to reserve a place at an advising session. The priority application deadline for the 2010 program is Friday, Dec. 4.

BEI scholarship for semester study in Northern Ireland

St. Thomas is a member school of the BEI Irish American Scholars Program. Undergraduates may apply for one of the competitive full-tuition scholarships for a semester at Queens University in Belfast or the University of Ulster. Applications for fall or spring semester of the 2010-2011 academic year are due to the International Education Center no later than Jan. 15, 2010.
