Students for Justice and Peace, and the Green Team, will host a screening of the documentary “Tapped” on Thursday, April 12. The event will be held at 7 p.m. in the auditorium, Room 126, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.
“Tapped is a timely behind-the-scenes documentary that takes a look into the unregulated and unseen world of an industry that aims to privatize and sell back the one resource that ought never to become a commodity: our water” (excerpt from the “Tapped” website).
Students who attend this event will be given priority reservations for a water-bottle giveaway, which will take place during convo hour on Tuesday and Thursday, April 17 and 19, on the John P. Monahan Plaza. The water-bottle giveaway event is a collaboration of the Undergraduate Student Government, Students for Justice and Peace, and the Green Team, and is meant to celebrate the new hydration stations on campus as well as to promote sustainability.
