Congratulations to faculty who have earned tenure and promotion effective September 2008!

The University of St. Thomas is pleased to announce that the following faculty members have received tenure and/or promotion in faculty status. These recommendations were made by the Tenure and Promotion Committee at its recent meetings and were subsequently approved by Father Dennis Dease.

The Tenure and Promotion Committee also recommended and Dease approved two new appointments to the faculty at the rank of full professor, with tenure:

  • Lyman Johnson, School of Law
  • Donald Weinkauf, School of Engineering

Dr. Weinkauf also will serve as the dean of the School of Engineering, effective July 1, 2008.
