'Think Pink' breast-cancer ribbon fundraiser is this week
RHA (Resident Hall Association) members will sell wide silk ribbons, long enough to be tied in your hair or on your bag, for $2 throughout the week.
The ribbons will be available during various lunch and dinner hours near the Student Dining Room and the Grill in Murray-Herrick Campus Center, and in the Binz Refectory. They also will be available in Koch Commons near the skyway from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. daily Monday, Oct. 23, through the Tommie vs. Johnnie football game on Saturday, Oct. 28.
This event is part of a series titled "Think Pink." The ribbons cost $2 and all money goes to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Cash donations also will be accepted, and pink Yoplait yogurt lids will be collected.
