More than 7,000 Catholic laymen and women, bishops, priests, seminarians, and religious from the Upper Midwest and beyond joined The Saint Paul Seminary, the National Eucharistic Revival, and the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis for the “Source and Summit” Eucharistic procession down Summit Avenue on Monday, May 27, 2024. The procession brought thousands together in prayer and public witness, filling one of St. Paul’s most historic streets with devotion to the Eucharist.
The event began with Midday Prayer at The Saint Paul Seminary, stopped at St. Thomas More Catholic Church for veneration and reflection, paused at Summit Overlook Park for a Eucharistic blessing of the Twin Cities, and concluded with benediction at the Cathedral of St. Paul. The procession served as Minneapolis-St. Paul’s flagship portion of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage’s Marian Route.
