Three finalists named for Tommie Award

Preliminary voting on the 27 nominees has concluded and three finalists for the 2007 Tommie Award have been selected for the final voting process in mid-February 2007. The three finalists are:

  • Joseph D. Librande
  • David A. Wierzbicki

Congratulations to the three finalists and the 24 other nominees including Ann Bainbridge, Tiffany Banken, Abby Becker, Nick Braun, Ernest Briggs, IV, Ruth Carlson, Joseph Charland, Amy Gleason, Michael Hara, Ann Hepola, Allison Johnson, Shannon Kane, Paul Monson, Rex Njoku, Jennifer Olin, Angela Osmolak, Nathaniel Peterson, Amy Slama, Dani Sollars, Amanda Thompson, Jane Tigan, Tyler Winkelman, Lesley Wyckoff and Nu Yang. All nominees have made significant contributions to this community and will leave a legacy of transformative leadership.

The Tommie Award has been presented since 1931 to a senior. It recognizes achievement in scholarship, leadership and campus involvement. The St. Thomas community selects the recipient of the award, who best represents the highest ideals of the university.
