TPT to Rebroadcast St. Thomas Programs

Twin Cities Public Television soon will rebroadcast three programs that originated at the University of St. Thomas.

Here’s a schedule of the upcoming programs, to air on TPT’s statewide Minnesota channel, tptMN:

“Pastor’s Views on NAFTA,” a TPT rebroadcast of an April 24, 2008, speech at St. Thomas by the former national security adviser on the “North American Idea,” will be shown on tptMN at 11 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, and 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 18.

“Engineering, Minnesota’s Future: George Buckley,” a rebroadcast of a Jan. 24, 2007, address at St. Thomas by a St. Thomas trustee who is the chairman, president and CEO of 3M, will be shown on tptMN at 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, and 2 a.m., 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 25.

“News and Audience Responsibilities,” covering St. Thomas’ 2009 Whalen Symposium “Whose News? Audience Responsibilities in a Digital World,” airs at 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, and 3 a.m., 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 25.
