'Troubling Waters' discussion on popular culture and film continues tomorrow

"Troubling Waters: Discussions on Meanings and Messages in Popular Culture and Film," a series of interdisciplinary discussions on power, race, gender and culture in society, will continue from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 18. The event will be held in the auditorium, Room 126, of the John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.

Student Breanna Alston and two faculty presenters, Paul Lai and Elizabeth Wilkinson, will select short film clips (10 minutes each) and raise issues for discussion.

The series, free and open to the public, is sponsored by American Culture and Difference, an interdisciplinary minor of the College of Arts and Sciences.
