University Committee on Women fall meeting is Thursday
The University Committee on Women will hold its annual fall meeting from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center (St. Paul), and Room 201, Opus Hall (Minneapolis), with teleconferencing between the two campuses.
The UCW is open to any member of the St. Thomas community – male or female; student, faculty, staff – who is interested in providing support to and advocacy for women.
The agenda for the meeting includes a discussion of the current climate study, a possible name change for the organization, elections for the committee's coordinating council and other procedural matters, and any other concerns that the membership would like to address.
Questions about the meeting or nominations for the coordinating council can be directed to the UCW co-chairs, Paddy Satzer in Minneapolis and Sue Myers in St. Paul.
