Four University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business alumni were named as winners of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal 40 Under Forty 2008 awards. Each year the journal identifies 40 high-achievers in the Twin Cities community noted for their professional accomplishments, demonstrated leadership, and community contributions.
OCB alumni were selected from hundreds of nominees in early 2008. Winners of the award were named in the May 9, 2008, issue of Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
Joseph Keeley ‘03 is president and CEO of College Nannies & Tutors, an organization that got its start while Keeley was still an undergraduate at the University of St. Thomas.
Director of Community Relations and Social Change of Best Buy Co. Inc., Jeff Peterson earned his Master of Business Communication from the university in 2000.
Michael Reger ‘08, ‘00 M.B.A., founded Northern Oil and Gas, Inc., in 2005 and, in 2008, listed it on the New York Stock Exchange.
In addition to his work as financial planner and investment consultant for Wipfli Hewins, Jeff Wenner ‘93 is an alumni mentor to students at the University of St. Thomas.
