All I want for Christmas ... are UST gifts this year

Stuck on not knowing what to buy that special Tommie for Christmas? There are some unique gift items available this year from groups on campus.

During the 2009-10 school year, St. Thomas is turning 125 years old and many celebratory events will be held. Anniversary items are available for sale to commemorate this historic occasion.

The Arches' painting and collectible, 125th anniversary book
Alumni can purchase a limited-edition print of a new oil painting of the arches for $125, a hand-painted ceramic collectible of the Arches for $75, and a book featuring the stories of 125 interesting and influential people in St. Thomas' history for $10. A package deal is available for $175.

All of these items have been created specifically for the 125-year celebration. They are available on the UST Bookstore Web site.

Christmas Concert CDs, DVDs
The Music Department presented the 2009 Christmas Concert last Sunday at Orchestra Hall. The performance will be available on a CD in January, and orders are being accepted now. Available for immediate purchase are both a CD and DVD of last year’s concert, which was broadcast nationally on public television stations.

Opening Kitchen Doors cookbook
The UST community has contributed more than 300 favorite recipes to create the Opening Kitchen Doors cookbook. It is available for $20. To order, print and complete this form.

Proceeds from the cookbook sales go to the NESC Scholarship Fund. The fund was established to provide support to children of nonexempt staff members who are enrolled at UST and are accepted into a study abroad program, and to UST nonexempt staff members enrolled in the undergraduate program who are accepted into a study abroad program.
