The University of St. Thomas School of Law is the No. 1 law school in the country for practical training.
The recognition comes from The National Jurist in its March 2014 issue, which puts the School of Law at the top of a list that includes Northeastern University, the University of Wisconsin, Brigham Young University and the University of New Hampshire, among others. St. Thomas is the only Minnesota law school to receive an A+ rating.
“This is a wonderful recognition and the product of years of work by many in this community,” Dean Robert Vischer said. “From the pioneering Mentor Externship program, to a cutting-edge interprofessional clinic, to a strong lawyering skills program, to a faculty and staff that are deep in practical experience and active in professional life, we’re hard-wired for experiential learning.”
