UST Swing Dance Club first event is Saturday

UST Swing Dance Club's first event is Saturday

The UST Swing Dance Club will sponsor its first official event this Saturday, April 5, at Tapestry Folkdance Center. Come at 7:30 p.m. for a free beginner swing dance lesson or at 8:30 p.m. when the band starts.

Everyone is welcome. You don't need to be a member of the club to participate, just bring your UST ID. The Swing Dance Club will pay for half of the $8 cover charge for all UST students with ID. If the group is bigger, the cover charge will be smaller.

To sign up, e-mail Kellen O'Grady by tomorrow night, Thursday, April 3, and also let him know if you will be able to drive in the carpools. Anyone who wants to go to the lesson will leave at 7 p.m. from beneath the skyway between Koch Commons and Morrison Hall. The rest of the participants will head out at 8 p.m.

Questions? E-mail Christi Collett.
