Volunteers in Action has spring applications available today
Volunteers In Action (VIA) is a student organization dedicated to providing the St. Thomas community with a variety of service opportunities to address needs in the Twin Cities community.
There are six different sites to choose from: Boys and Girls Club, Junior Tommies, Listening House, Adopt-A-Grandparent, Jane Addams and Reach Out (Reach Out is a great source for volunteer hours if you're in another club or organization so be sure to give the site leader your club contact e-mail and you will receive information on the latest volunteer opportunities). More information on all other sites can be found in the Center for Community Partnerships, Room 153, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.
Be sure to pick up your application today at the center. The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7.
