Under the weather? The St. Thomas Wellness Center offers cold and flu care packages while supplies last at the center, Room 11, Koch Commons. The kits include tissues, tea, cough drops, soup, hand sanitizer and tips for staying healthy.
Among those tips: Get regular exercise, eat a balanced diet, get at least eight hours of sleep each night, drink plenty of water, cover sneezes and coughs, and wash hands frequently with warm water and soap or alcohol-based hand sanitizer. The Wellness Center staff also reminds you to get your seasonal flu shot if you haven't done so already, and get the H1N1 vaccine as it becomes available.
