Wellness Center offers yoga, pilates classes

Learn to relax your body and mind. STAR and the Wellness Center present fall yoga and pilates classes open to all St. Thomas students, faculty and staff. No experience is necessary.

Yoga

Learn gentle breathing and stretching exercises that can increase energy, improve flexibility and reduce stress.

Yoga classes will be held:

  • 5-6 p.m. Thursdays in the Koch Commons Fireside Room, St. Paul campus
  • Noon-1 p.m. Tuesdays in Room 357, Terrence Murphy Hall, Minneapolis campus

Pilates

Pilates uses controlled movements to tone and strengthen the body. It seeks to build flexibility, strength and coordination, and improve circulation and posture.

Pilates classes meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays in the Koch Commons Fireside lounge.

Punch cards are required for participation in yoga and pilates classes. They may be purchased in the Box Office, lower level, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Punch cards for six sessions cost $20 for students, $35 for staff and faculty.
