Sigma Chi Derby Days Benefit Concert Features White Panda Tonight

The St. Thomas chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity is partnering with the University of Minnesota chapter to present White Panda in concert today, Friday, Nov. 4. The “doors” open at 6 p.m.

Coming hot off its fall tour, the Chicago-based mashup outfit will bring “panda-monium” to the 1600 block parking lot on University Avenue in Minneapolis. “Mashup Mondays” are the group’s signature release style in which they put out a new track almost every week for their fans.

Tickets cost $20 and are available here. All proceeds from the concert will be donated directly to the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Derby Days is an annual charity tradition dating to 1933. Last year, Sigma Chi sponsored a Sammy Adams concert that sold out to 1,750 fans. This year's concert is expected to draw an even larger crowd.
