St. Thomas Women Connect invites the university community to the inaugural Women in Business Showcase on Thursday, Nov. 18. This event, which will be held in Schulze Hall on the Minneapolis campus, will bring together alumnae entrepreneurs and friends for an evening of networking, socializing and learning from one another.
More than 20 alumna-owned small businesses will be featured in the opening-hour business showcase, followed by keynote presentations from the following speakers:
- Laura Dunham, Ph.D. – associate professor in the Opus College of Business Center for Entrepreneurship.
- Susan Johnson ’85, ’95 M.B.A. – president and CEO of Magellan Medical Technology Consultants, UST 2010 Entrepreneurship Alumna of the Year.
- Kate Herzog ’09 M.B.A. – founder of House of Talents.
Tickets are $15 per person, which includes wine, appetizers and a $5 tax-deductible gift to the St. Thomas Women Connect Scholarship. R.S.V.P. online at Showcase 2010.
