The Luann Dummer Center for Women will welcome donations of items for the Theresa Living Center and Caroline Family Services; suggestions for needed items are listed below. Run by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Mankato Province, these organizations provide home and support services for women and families on their way to a better life.
Donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday, Dec. 18, in the women’s center, Room 103, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center.
Donations (new only) that are needed:
- Sheet sets – twin mostly, some double and queen size
- Towel sets
- Baby care items
- Diapers – newborn to size 6
- Receiving blankets
- Children’s clothes – boys and girls, newborn and up
- Toys for newborns to one year
- Personal care items
- Cleaning supplies – mops, buckets, brooms, floor cleaner, shower cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner
- Gift cards to stores (such as Target) where these items can be purchased
