2007-2008 Room Retention and Selection Process begins Feb. 12

2007-2008 Room Retention and Selection Process begins Feb. 12

From Residence Life

The University of St. Thomas on-campus housing process is about to begin. There are many options, so start planning now for housing for 2007-2008. To participate in the Room Retention and Selection Process you will first need to complete an online application, which will be available from Feb. 12 to 21 on the Residence Life Web site. All students are welcome to apply; you do not need to be a current resident.

Current first year residents

Sophomore Year Experience (SYE) floors are a new housing option just for you. Available in Dowling and Brady, these communities are designed to meet the needs of second-year students. On-campus apartment-style housing will fill quickly with current sophomores and juniors, so planning to live in one of the traditional halls next year is a good idea. More information on SYE and other special interest floors is available on the Student Housing Options Web page.

International roommate option

Would you like the opportunity to live with a UST student from another country? We will pair two current UST students with two new international students in Morrison four-person apartments. Current sophomores and juniors who are interested may contact the Residence Life office, (651) 962-6470, by Wednesday, Feb. 21, or come to Room 106, Koch Commons, for more information.

Online application and Room Retention and Selection Process guidelines are available on the Residence Life Web site.

Note: Students who do not apply online by Feb. 21 must complete a paper application and will be waitlisted for housing. Waitlisted housing assignments will not be made until July 2007.
