Former KARE 11 reporter, UST's Greg Vandegrift, will speak at SPJ meeting today
The UST chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists will hold its first meeting of the semester from noon to 1 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 18, in Room 310, O'Shaughnessy Educational Center.
Greg Vandegrift, newly hired faculty and former KARE 11 reporter, will speak on the future of media. Local chapter business also will be covered at the meeting; lunch will be provided.
New members are always welcome to join the chapter; a communication or journalism major is not required. Membership also provides access to the resources of the National Society of Professional Journalists.
