The Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities (ACTC) has extended the deadline to submit proposals for Sustainable Urban Communities, an undergraduate research symposium. The new deadline is Friday, Jan. 7.
Undergraduates in all disciplines are invited to submit their work for presentation at the first annual ACTC Undergraduate Research Symposium on Friday, March 4. All forms of student work will be considered, including research, creative writing, community engagement and original art.
For the ACTC, urban sustainability encompasses the environmental, cultural, social, political, intellectual, and creative resources, developments, and activities in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. This research symposium is designed to highlight the ways that ACTC students are contributing to a vibrant Twin Cities community through direct study, applied research or community involvement.
Visit the ACTC website for more information, including guidelines for submitting a proposal. Proposals that were received by Dec. 17 will be given priority consideration.
