Additional sessions on Performance Assessment and Management Policy scheduled

All employees are invited to attend a brown bag information session to help them understand the new Performance Assessment and Management Policy that went into effect on July 1, 2005. See the HR Messenger for more information.

The university’s new performance management system is one way to recognize its employees as they grow and excel in their daily work. The Performance Assessment Policy is designed to foster relationship-building and problem-solving, and serve as a reference for setting and checking on the fulfillment of goals and how they fit in with and further St. Thomas ’ mission. What you should know about this new system is that there are two parts – performance assessment and performance management. Each plays an important role.
