Alumni Business "Capturing" a Market

A company with St. Thomas roots is now helping the university simplify what used to be a technology challenge. In the last issue of B. Magazine, we highlighted Ilos videos, a tech startup created by Nick Stokman ’13 and Sean Higgins ’12, ’14 M.B.A. They've brought the university on as a client, with great reviews.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press took notice of this 11-person team that's helping small companies and Fortune 500s alike, better communicate with their employees and customers. The article shows the satisfaction with some UST employees as well as those in the business community for the 2014 Minnesota Cup finalists.

"Seldom do you find a team of young tech company founders with the well-matched skills of these guys: Nick in technology and product strategy, Sean in business development, and Peter (Fares, lead developer)  in software development," said Mike Moore, director of the William C. Norris Institute that invested in ilos videos. "What they lack in experience they make up for in hard work and determination, and they listen to the advisers who have helped them succeed."
