Three Graduate Art History Students Present at Research Symposium Thursday

The Art History Department will host its Master of Arts in Art History Fall Graduate Student Forum at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the presentations.

Dr. Victoria Young was the faculty adviser for the master’s qualifying paper presenters:

  • Sarah Henrich – “To Build Two Houses for the Lord: The Post-Emancipation Jewish Community of Turin Changes Its Faç(e)ade”
  • Kendall Larson – “The Boathouses of Latsch Island: An Architectural History”
  • Maria Wiering – “Church and State: Archbishop Ireland’s American Vision for the Twin Cities’ Dual Cathedrals”
