Student architectural research symposium to be held Saturday

UST’s Art History Department and the Minnesota chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians will co-host the Fourth Annual Student Research Symposium Saturday, Sept. 26.

The symposium will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in 3M Auditorium, Owens Science Hall, and in Room 127, O’Shaughnessy Science Hall. Four St. Thomas students will be among the 15 national students presenting their work  (see schedule). This event is free and open to the public.

A light breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. in the Owens Science Hall lobby.

Founded in 1973, MNSAH is one of 25 local chapters of the national Society of Architectural Historians. MNSAH’s mission is to broaden awareness and appreciation of Minnesota’s architectural heritage, to promote research, and to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas related to architectural history. The Minnesota Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians is a nonprofit corporation, registered in the state of Minnesota.
