Association for Strategic Planning hosts speaker Sept. 25

The Association for Strategic Planning-Minnesota chapter announces the next event in its 2007 breakfast series. Keith Hembre, chief financial analyst and chief economist for FAF Advisors, will give give a talk, "Economic and Market Outlook," on Tuesday, Sept. 25, in Room 202, Opus Hall, on the Minneapolis campus (see a campus map with parking locations).

Here is the schedule:

A University of Minnesota graduate, Hembre has an M.S. in economics from Baylor University. He taught economics at the St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance in Russia and also has served as an adjunct faculty member in the Economics Department at Metropolitan State University. He began working in the financial industry in 1992. Before joining FAF Advisors in 1997, Hembre worked in the Banking Studies Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.

He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has completed the program on investment decisions and behavioral finance at Harvard University. He is also a member of the CFA Institute and the National Association for Business Economics.
