Attend sessions to discuss exempt staff council

All exempt (salaried) staff are invited to attend one of four sessions scheduled to discuss the creation of a council that would address the issues and needs of St. Thomas' exempt staff.

While there have been informal discussions about the creation of an exempt staff council in past years, over the summer senior leadership were engaged in formal discussions. The goal for the next meetings is to assess interest and commitment from the exempt staff. After these meetings, a working group will be called upon to establish structure and bylaws for the group and request formal approval.

Sessions will be held on Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses:

  • 3-4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, in Room 448, Terrence Murphy Hall
  • Noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, in O'Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium
  • 3-4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, in Room 155, Murray-Herrick Campus Center
  • Noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, in Room 448, Terrence Murphy Hall

If you cannot attend a session and would like to contribute suggestions or feedback, contact Lisa Burke, Sarah Spencer or Richelle Wesley.
