U.S. Senate candidates invited to debate women's issues

The Luann Dummer Center for Women is co-sponsoring a U.S. Senate candidates' forum on issues related to women.

All of the candidates have been invited to participate in the forum, which will look at many social and economic factors unique to women. Candidates will address prepared questions during the first hour of the forum; the last hour will be reserved for audience questions.

The forum will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, in O'Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium on the university's St. Paul campus. "Tabling" by various political organizations will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

The forum is free and open to the public. The Minnesota Women's Political Caucus is the forum's other co-sponsor.
