Tuition Exchange Now Accepting Applications for 2019-2020 Academic Year

The Tuition Exchange is a competitive scholarship program available to the dependent children of eligible faculty and staff at more than 600 participating member institutions. St. Thomas is now accepting applications for six scholarships to be awarded for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Celebrate National Week of the Young Child April 16-20

In conjunction with April National Child Abuse Prevention Month and the National Week of the Young Child (April 16-20), the University of St. Thomas Child Development Center (CDC) community is reaching out to the children in crisis served by Project Baby Bottoms, a local project dedicated to providing low-income areas and families with diapers and wipes.

President’s Brown Bag Highlights Safety on Campus, Available Resources

President Julie Sullivan’s brown-bag session on March 13 addressed personal safety on campus and featured Karen Lange, vice president for student affairs, and Dan Meuwissen, public safety director, giving an introductory training to developing a personal safety plan, as well as outlining the many campus resources.

Annie Youngblood Voted 2018 Tommie Award Winner

Annie Youngblood, a senior majoring in environmental science and justice and peace studies, has been involved as a student leader at St. Thomas in a variety of ways, including as an orientation leader, swim team manager, and research assistant in the biology department.
