The St. Thomas community is invited to attend the 50th anniversary celebration of the O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center on Friday, Oct. 23.
The festivities begin at 3:30 p.m. in the John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts auditorium with a welcome by Father Dennis Dease; remarks by Dan Gjelten, director of libraries; a brief video presentation, and a special recognition of namesake donors.
About 4:15 the party will move to the Great Hall on the second floor of the O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center for a reception, which will include music, appetizers, tours of the library, photo exhibits, a small library museum, and an opportunity to reminisce with current and former members of the St. Thomas community.
