Center for Business Excellence teams with Building Owners and Managers Institute to offer two real estate continuing ed programs

The Center for Business Excellence and the Shenehon Center for Real Estate Education, in cooperation with both the Minneapolis and St. Paul Associations of Building Owners and Managers, offer the Real Property Administrator (RPA) and the Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) professional designation programs through the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI). Each program requires approximately two years of part-time study.

RPA program participants have responsibilities in building management and operations, leasing and marketing space, and representing the building owner in working with various professional services, including: legal, architectural and insurance.

The FMA program is designed for building and facilities managers working for companies that manufacture products or provide non-real estate services as their primary business. The program focuses on the interrelationships and integration of people, process and place to ensure a working environment that supports productivity.

Mini MBA in Real Estate

The Center for Business Excellence also announces the Mini MBA in Real Estate that will begin on Sept. 8.

This program, developed by the Shenehon Center for Real Estate Education, provides residential real estate agents and brokers a comprehensive overview of the foundations of real estate and an understanding of the critical issues involved in evaluating opportunities in this rapidly evolving business.

The Mini MBA in Real Estate is designed for people with two or more years of experience in real estate.
