Chemistry Club to host annual Welcome Back Barbecue tomorrow
The St. Thomas Chemistry Club will hold its annual Welcome Back Barbecue from noon to 1:30 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 8, under the arches between Owens Science Hall and O’Shaughnessy Science Hall. Everyone is welcome.
Stop by for a burger or a hot dog. There will be a dunk tank again, so you’ll have a chance to soak your favorite (or least favorite) chemistry faculty member. This year, Dr. Tom Rochon, executive vice president and chief academic officer, also will take a turn in the tank; so if you’d rather dunk an administrator, here’s your chance. Dunk tank proceeds will go to Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
