College of Business alumnus named to "2010 Entrepreneurs of the Year" list

Joe Keeley, a 2003 alumnus of the undergraduate entrepreneurship program in the College of Business, was recently named to Twin Cities Business magazine's 2010 Entrepreneurs of the Year list.

Keeley is no stranger to business accolades.  Over the past few years, he has been selected for the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal's "40 under 40" list of top local business leaders as well as Business Week's "top 25 under 25."  Keeley won numerous entrepreneurship awards while still a student at the University of St. Thomas, and earlier this year he shared his experiences with alumni at a UST First Friday Speaker Series event.  The UST Entrepreneurship Society profiled him as one of the most successful graduates of the past 10 years.

The Opus College of Business has a strong focus on entrepreneurship, providing a variety of resources for innovative professionals.  These include the Morrison Center for Entrepreneurship,  the Small Business Development Center, and the William C. Norris Institute.
