The St. Thomas Employee Federal Credit Union is offering vehicle loans on cars or trucks 2003 or newer at 4 percent for five years. This special is effective until June 30 for any applicant with a credit (BEACON) score of 700 or more. Why? Because you may need a vehicle and the credit union needs loans.
Is zero percent financing better than 4 percent? Sometimes yes, sometimes no; call the credit union and staff will help with the calculations to arrive at the right decision.
Loan proceeds cannot be used to pay off any existing loan at the St. Thomas Employee Federal Credit Union.
