Discover the world through CultureLink
From the Office of International Student Services
We are getting ready to welcome new UST students from Taiwan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, India and many other countries. Friendship families are still greatly needed to help welcome these students.
The Office of International Student Services at the University of St. Thomas cordially invites faculty and staff to join the CultureLink Friendship Family program.
The CultureLink Friendship Family program connects new international students with American families. The goal of CultureLink is to promote cultural exchange within the St. Thomas community and to help international students adjust to life in the United States. When possible, families host their students upon arrival for one to three days before the International Student Orientation begins. Families then keep in contact with their assigned student during the year by inviting him or her to occasional family dinners and other events.
It is easy to be a friendship family. With minimum time commitment, you will help international students learn about the American culture and create great memories.
