Dr. Husain Yasin Siddiqui to discuss social development in India at luncheon on Friday

Faculty and staff are invited to a luncheon discussion on social development in India with Dr. Husain Yasin Siddiqui. This event will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, in the Fireside Room, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.

Siddiqui serves as the head of the Department of Social Work at Jamia Millia Islamia University in New Delhi, India. He also is a consultant to the United Nations International Drug Control Program, and the IPEC International Labor Office. He is considered an international expert on social welfare and social development in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Siddiqui lectures on the Muslim perspective on social development and women’s issues.
