Do you need to complete a community service requirement but don’t know where to start? Have a specific interest area or just want to get involved in the community but aren’t sure of the options? Are you a faculty or staff member looking to connect students with a certain community group or organization?
Attend the Community Engagement Network open house on Tuesday, April 26. Everyone is invited to stop by from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the first floor atrium, Murray-Herrick Campus Center (outside the CILCE Center). Visitors will have the opportunity to try out the system and update their profiles, enjoy free food and win prizes.
The University of St. Thomas’ new Community Engagement Network, an online resource connecting campus and community, will enable students, faculty and staff to search for opportunities, connect with community partners, and ultimately fulfill requirements for programs, courses or scholarships.
View the Community Engagement Network website to see all the ways to get involved. The network is a program of the Center for Intercultural Learning and Community Engagement.
