Faculty, staff asked to participate in Fall Leadership Institute project

The Fall Leadership Institute is asking faculty and staff to participate in a special project in preparation for this year’s program.

This year’s theme is “I am … Leadership.” The institute asks faculty and staff to reflect on the multiple roles in their lives and the impact they have on their roles as leaders by filling out an “I am … Leadership” card. (See Tommie’s example above.)

Responses and photographs will be published in Fall Leadership Institute publications and distributed to students during the institute.

The institute is asking faculty and staff to stop by the Murray-Herrick Leadership Room (MHC 112) from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, or 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, July 12, to contribute to this endeavor.

Students attending the Fall Leadership Institute, which will be held Aug. 28-30, also will complete an “I am . . . Leadership” card during their training. Their cards will be display after the institute.

For more information about the project or to sign up for a specific time on the days listed above, contact Kari Rusch-Curl, (651) 962-6474.
