Food Service to increase most menu item prices

Food Service to increase most menu item prices

By Gayle Lamb
Manager, Food Service

As we prepare for the start of a new school year, Food Service has experienced significant challenges with regard to price increases of raw food and transportation costs since spring semester. As a result of these increases, we are forced to raise prices to cover the increase in costs. In some of our locations we have not raised prices for two years and in others we have only adjusted prices on some items.

Due to the impact of increased food and fuel costs, we find it necessary to increase most of our menu item prices. The new prices will take effect on Monday, Aug. 4. There may be some adjustments throughout the week as we review and change menu boards.

We ask for your patience while we are making these changes. We value constructive comments, so don’t hesitate to communicate with us (e-mail Gayle Lamb) regarding this issue and any other that you have with Food Service.
