Free coffee at Women's Studies monthly discussion today
The Women’s Studies program is sponsoring its second monthly Women's Studies discussion from 3:30 to 5 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 5, in the meeting room at Coffee Bené.
After some informal conversation, Paul Lai, English Department, will talk about his background in women's studies and his upcoming Asian-American Women Writers class, a cross-listed women's studies course in the fall.
All faculty members and students who are interested in learning about women's studies are welcome to attend the discussion.
The Women's Studies program has reserved the meeting room at Coffee Bené, which is located on the corner of Grand and Cleveland; the meeting room is the connection between the coffee shop and Davanni's.
The cost of coffee will be covered by the Women's Studies Department. When ordering, let Coffee Bené staff know you're attending the women's studies meeting.
