Graduate Writing Resource Center opens
The University of St. Thomas School of Education's Graduate Writing Resource Center recently opened and stands ready to offer a variety of services to students.
This new center is located in Keffer Library, in Opus Hall on the Minneapolis campus, and offers many services to assist graduate students in reaching their maximum writing potential.
Teaming with library professionals as well as the LifeWork Center, the School of Education will offer seminars with a wide range of writing topics, from literature reviews for educational purposes to résumé writing for professional careers.
Writing clinics will also be offered in small groups by award-winning St. Thomas professor Dr. Eleni Roulis to promote individual writing strengths and enhance overall writing quality. Dissertation writing clinics will be valuable for UST doctoral students.
Small-group sessions are offered in two-hour time blocks, from 10 a.m. to noon, 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to7 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students interested in participating can contact Dan Vevang, (651) 962-4460.
