Green Team offers free "Green" Holiday Gift Wrapping
The UST Green Team will offer free Holiday "Green" Gift Wrapping from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, in Koch Commons.
According to Caitlan Carroll of American Public Media, Americans generate an extra 25 million tons of trash from Thanksgiving to New Year's. … If every American family wrapped just three presents in reused materials it would save enough paper to cover 45,000 football fields.
In addition to demonstrating how to "green"' wrap holiday gifts, the Green Team also will offer tips and share information about how to have a less wasteful and greener Christmas.
The event is open to all students, faculty and staff.
