Grill is brewing fair trade coffee through Friday

The Grill is brewing fair trade coffee all day this week through Friday, March 10.  Get a taste of Adjust's campaign to make all campus coffee fair trade and find out how you can show your support.

Adjust is a student organization dedicated to advancing the common good at St. Thomas by working cooperatively for social change. This year’s campaign focus is fair trade coffee. The current UST blend usually served in the Grill is not certified as fair trade, but Scooter’s and Beakers serve one or two fair trade options daily.

Commit to drinking fair trade coffee by signing a pledge card and pick up an “Adjust to Fair Trade” punch card.  Purchase 10 cups of fair trade coffee on campus before Wednesday, April 12, and be entered to win great prizes.

Fair trade coffee guarantees farmers a higher price for their harvest and provides access to resources to improve environmental and living conditions in developing countries.

Find out more by stopping at the Adjust table in the Grill all week.
